The greatest Italian director at Palazzo Reale. Milan hosts Federico Fellini, winner of numerous awards such as the Oscar for Best Foreign Film, the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival and the Golden Lion of the Venice Film Festival. The director received countless tributes already in life, having been able to change the face of Italian cinema, and beyond.

After some initial experiences, his absolute debut will take place with Lo sceicco bianco (1952), which was followed by the prolific and glorious years of I Vitelloni (1953), La Strada (1954), La dolce vita (1960), 8 1/2 ( 1963) and Amarcord (1973). Fellini remained operational until shortly before his death, which occurred in November 1993, and only a few months earlier – in March 1993 – he received the Oscar for his career, the right crowning achievement for the career of a film genius like him, who he was able to go through different eras and techniques.

There were many unrealized projects and as well as the director’s multifaceted talents not always known to the general public, such as cartoons and comics. Federico Fellini was the protagonist and witness of an era made immortal thanks to his films, which will come to life thanks to the exhibition “Fellini Fellini” at Palazzo Reale in Milan which for the occasion will offer the opportunity to admire not only his drawings and scripts originals, but also some props and costumes.
