The mysteries of ancient Egypt finally in Milan. The Tutankhamun exhibition in Milan opens with a rich archaeological section where important sarcophagi, funerary objects and other original objects from international museums are exhibited; these are finds of particular value, usually not visible to the public, which allow you to appreciate the refinement of Egyptian art and above all to understand the conception of the afterlife of the ancient Egyptians and the importance they have given to the journey to the underworld . The real masterpiece and fulcrum of the first section is the statue of the young Tutankhamun exceptionally loaned by the August Kestner Museum in Hanover.
In the second section, the visitor is involved in an exciting immersive experience through a suggestive multimedia setting which, through a rich photographic repertoire, tells the journey to the darkness of Tutankhamun, the famous “pharaoh boy”.
Thanks to the original finds of absolute value and its spectacular immersive setting, curated by some of the most prestigious Egyptologists in the world, the exhibition “Tutankhamun RealExperience” at Palazzo Reale in Milan offers an unmissable opportunity to venture into the world of Ancient Egypt, its culture and its beliefs, through one of the most famous and representative pharaohs of this fascinating civilization.
