The first Italian retrospective on Leonora Carrington reveals the visionary world of one of the most fascinating artists of the 20th century. A painter, writer, and unconventional woman, Carrington transformed Surrealism by taking it to new dimensions, blending art, exile, feminism, and ecology.
The exhibition explores her connection to Italy, her rebellion against conventions, and her constant search for alternative worlds. In addition to paintings, it includes photographs, books, and archival materials, offering a deep dive into her magical universe.
